You need to wait a few more hours, in all likelihood. The process was faster. About a year ago, I remember how the application was published, and it showed up in an hour. A couple of months ago, I published another application, and it took about 5 hours.
It is also worth noting that if there are punctuation marks in the header of your application (most likely, a comma), you can try to find the name of the application in quotation marks. For example, recently published a friend Run, Tweet, Run. It took more than a week to search with the query Run, Tweet, Run to return successfully. However, if you were explicitly looking for quotes around the title, as in "Run, Tweet, Run," you would get hit.
Good luck. It will be as soon as possible. And remember, Google has the fastest publishing process for all major app stores: Apple takes about a week, Amazon takes 2-4 days, Microsoft takes 3 days. So a few hours are really not that bad.
