Is there a trick to show Arial Black in Firefox?

Since Arial black is broken in firefox, is there a way to show it without pasting it with @ font-face?

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644385

I saw a couple of jobs, for example, using

font-weight: 900; font-family:'Arial Black', Gadget, sans-serif;

However, this method does not work for me. Suggestions?

The problem (according to the error) is that the Windows DirectWrite API used by Firefox treats Arial Black as font-family: Arial; font-weight: bold; font-family: Arial; font-weight: bold; ( comment # 8 ), so according to comment # 10 you need to use:

 font-family: "Arial Black", Arial; font-weight: 900;

It seems like the best solution right now is to use font-face to check for font on the local machine. I think this is better than loading a font into Font Squirrel and creating a bunch of files for embedding.

 @font-face { font-family: 'arial-black'; src: local('Arial Black'); } #nav { font-family:"Arial Black", arial-black, sans-serif; }

He will call Arial Black, like a regular font on the Internet, and if that doesn't work (in this case, Firefox (Firefox), it will come back to view the font on the local computer.

If anyone has a better method, feel free to post it.

Arial Black is the weight of 900 Arial families. So use Arial in your font-family for use in Firefox, as shown below:

 font-family:"Arial Black", Gadget, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 900;

This was reported in bugzilla.mozilla.org
