Does anyone know a text editor that can be saved directly to Google Drive and is based on a web interface? I would prefer a Chrome app, but a regular web app is fine. Ideally, I'm looking for something like SourceKit (which is great, but only saves Dropbox), which saves to Drive and offers standalone features. However, Drive support is essential.
I already tried Drive Notepad as well as Lee Edit. The problem with most of those that I used is the poor interface, mainly regarding viewing files (showing everything in Drive in one long list, etc.) or not giving me the option when to save my file in Drive.
I am happy to pay for a good solution. I think if someone is much more capable than me, looking for an interesting project, SourceKit. This is great, but just hasn't been updated for over a year. Add to that the support of Google Drive, and I will be happy to pay or donate for your time.
My apologies if I am not aware of what the SDK / API allows for disks, but I assume that what I want can be done, just nobody has done it (or I haven’t found it).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I tried to contact the main developer of SourceKit a couple of times via Twitter, but did not receive a response. It seems he is no longer interested in the project.
