HBASE 0.94.1 Compatible with Haop

I am new to HBASE and HADOOP, and to run my experiments I will need available compatible versions of hbase and hadoop.

The current stable version in "http://apache.techartifact.com/mirror/hbase/" is hbase-0.94.1. Can anyone tell me which version of hadoop I should use so that there is no compatibility issue and no data loss in the future.

Please suggest from the hadoop and hbase releases currently available on the Internet.

below are the sites I use to download these releases

If you want to be sure of the compatibility of your Hadoop and HBase distribution, you can use the Apache Bigtop or Cloudera CDH project.

BigTop :

The main goal of Bigtop is to create a community around testing packaging and compatibility of Hadoop-related projects. This includes testing at different levels (packaging, platform, runtime, updating, etc.), developed by the community with an emphasis on the system as a whole, and not on individual projects.

Cloudera :

CDH consists of 100% open source Apache Hadoop plus nine other open source projects from the Hadoop ecosystem. CDH has been thoroughly tested and certified to integrate with the widest range of operating systems and equipment, databases and data warehouses, as well as business intelligence and ETL systems.

Download both from the stable folder. I do not know if any version is compatible with another.

I am using hadoop-0.20.203.0 with hbase-0.94.1 without any problems.
