Is there a reliable and current version of the list of browsers / browser versions available anywhere?

I was surprised that I could not find a reliable resource that documents CSS, HTML, and Javascript browser errors. Obviously, there are sites like http://caniuse.com/ and http://www.quirksmode.org/ that take things from a different direction, document the function and sometimes notice errors and partially implemented functions, but is there a site which lists known bugs and workarounds for each browser / browser version?

I find http://caniuse.com/

It’s incredibly useful to know which features are supported by browsers. Hope this helps

Just to make it a little easier to find, here are the resources suggested so far in the comments:

- IE 5+ errors, but not updated since 2009

http://www.paulirish.com/2009/browser-specific-css-hacks

- Paul Irish list of shared browsers not updated again since 2009.

What I found quite interesting are different doctrines. Not only can you call QuirksMode (IE 5.5-like rendering in InternetExplorer - you don’t know how other browsers do it), but you can also have almost standard mode. http://hsivonen.iki.fi/doctype/#Sending%20XHTML%20as%20text/html%20Considered%20Harmful

Here is a list of errors in IE8: http://jhop.me/ie8-bugs

Everything else that I found most likely disappeared. IE6 is almost dead ( http://www.ie6countdown.com/#chart ), IE7 is also used only by a minority ( http://theie7countdown.com/ ) ... now it just depends on what you want to support. If you still want / must support IE7 or IE6, I would look at the links published by Pedr. That I found all css errors, except for one - IE6 PNG error. But Safari also has its problems with PNG transparency and the gamma channel :)

PNG issue (IE6, IE7, and Safari): http://morris-photographics.com/photoshop/articles/png-gamma.html

It all comes to my mind. I basically skip the PNG problem by reducing the png and gif files before uploading them to a live system using http://imageoptim.com/ .

I don’t know if anyone added JS-Bugs ... I just know the missing functions and that where you could use a framework like jQuery or something not exploded :)
