Modelica Style Guide

For many programming languages, style guides exist, such as PEP8 for Python, this is the Matlab style guide, or the Google style guide . For Modelica, I found the conventions described in the User Guide , but is there something more comprehensive? And, ideally, a tool that helps with reformatting, indentation, etc.?

The manuals in the Modelica User Guide are the only ones that I know of. The topic was discussed several times at design meetings, and I wrote one document that discussed this topic, but did not really offer specific recommendations.

Part of the problem is that, although the Modelica Association may have its own guidelines (as you saw), they do not provide any specific business or industry recommendations that may be different. In other words, I could have foreseen that there would be many different guidelines around that are adapted to specific types of models or specific industry agreements. But Modelica is the only ones that I know for sure (although it wouldn't surprise me if large organizations had their own official style rules).
