Django 1.5 is expected to be released in about a month , but Django as a whole is generally quite stable, so the fact that it is not released, but should not be a big problem.
If I started a new project, I would, of course, be aimed at 1.5; What is the likelihood that the project will be "completed" before the release of Django 1.5? (Some releases slipped, but overall, the Django team was pretty good at planning as things go.) Also, I can start using other features in it (Python 3 support is my favorite, although the user user model is also a great gift) .
On the other hand, from a tight business perspective, Iām sure that using Django 1.5 would be too fun to try, and I would probably be distracted from the game with unusual new features ...
