Bluetooth connectivity between OSX and iOS

I am working on an application that makes a lot of iOS and OX messages. For the most part, I solved it.

I am using CocoaPort for communication. It worked beautifully on Wifi and was very fast.

I use Bonjour to find my server. This required the publication of a service with a modified DNSSDObjects- resistant network service on iOS. Obviously, services published via Bluetooth on OSX are not visible to iOS, but vice versa, it works well, except that you need to support the connection and connection of devices.

Now my question is: how can I improve the speed of the Bluetooth connection? I get maybe 100kb / s max and it seems like it stops after about 1 minute, although the connection is still open.

I think I need to use IOBluetooth to request a high speed connection?

According to @Apple engineer, this is currently not possible. The best you can do is Bluetooth Classic, which is probably the speed that I get.

If you want this feature, consider opening a feature request at bugreporter.apple.com.
