This may sound like a silly question ... But I can't find anywhere what the "a" in strconv.Itoa really means. If you take it an integer and turn it into a string, then why the function is not called Itos?
integer in ASCII . It comes from the C / UNIX language. See This Topic: Where did the name `atoi` come from?
In C there is no concept such as strings; you have arrays of characters with zero completion.
