One-finger scrolling for <object> - iPad not working

Question

I have a strange demand. I want to scroll the embedded pdf inside the <object> or <embed> element with one finger. At the moment, I can scroll the embedded content with two fingers.

 Tried following elements 1. <object> 2. <embed> 

Read many articles and find out that two fingers with a scroll gesture is Apple standard practice. Still want to try my luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Although I have no explanation why Mobile Safari clearly needs this, the addition of overflow: auto; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch; overflow: auto; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch; into the container makes a scrollable pdf.
