Using DLL Redemption (Outlook) on a 64-bit machine

I have an exe that I installed on my 32-bit machine, it loops over the Inbox inputs and works fine (NB, I still haven't got it for another user ( see here ) any ideas would be appreciated as well!).

But when I install it on a 64-bit server, I get this error:

Creating an instance of the COM component with CLSID {29AB7A12-B531-450E-8F7A-EA94C2F3C05F} from the IClassFactory failed due to the following error: 80004005.

I registered the Redemption dll on the server ( see here ).

I did this running-c-app-32-bit-on-64-bit-machine

NB. The class identifier will look like Redemption.RDOSession ( see here )

The solution here was to install the Outlook client on the server.

Hanner de Jager pinned it to a comment, but it deserves a full answer.

All you need on the server is to install the Microsoft MAPI client and Microsoft Exchange collaboration objects

Outlook is not needed. This is the beauty of the Atonement.
