The best way to develop a simple video chat application for Android and iOS

I am trying to develop a simple video chat application. But I do not know how to start. I know that there are several ways to do this. WebRTC, Adobe Flex. But WebRTC is only expensive for p2p and Adobe Produkts.

Do you know the best ways to design a video chat? A little tutorial will be best.

I am an easyRTC project developer. It is based on WebRTC (thus not iOS), but also easy for most people with little experience in JavaScript.

It is still early now, so OS and browser support is currently limited. WebRTC is supported by beta versions of Chrome and Firefox on Windows, Linux, Android.
