Complete Eclipse Shortcut Keyboard

How to make eclipse shut down? I use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F11 to start the program, and I can’t turn on the completion hotkey, because during the development process I run the program 100 times a day, I spend a lot of time on the red square frame.

I looked at the previous posts of this question and went to Windows → Preferences → General → Keys and found the “Terminate” command: I set the Shift + Ctrl + F11 binding and set the “When” parameter to “Windows”. I tried other options, but the shortcut never works. Why?

Addendum: Unfortunately, there is no shortcut for the "Finish / Disable All" option mentioned below, and you cannot manually install it. But at least you should be able to complete all launches with just one click with the instructions below. I would consider this solution for a significant part of your problem, which spends a lot of time on the Terminate red square.

To complete all launches:

First setup:

  • From the menu, click Window> Show View> Other ...
  • Type debug in the search field and select Debug> Debug
  • Click OK. The Debug panel opens.

After which, how to complete all starts:

  • Open or switch to the Debug panel.
  • Right-click on any of the items in the panel to get a context menu.
  • Click Finish / Disable All .

Tips:

  • If the console panel annoys you by opening it automatically, either open the Debug panel in the Console panel (so that they do not share the same section) or disable these two buttons on the toolbar of the console panel:
    • Show console with standard changes
    • Show console when standard errors change
  • Some items in the Debug panel may not include an option to complete all. In this case, try right-clicking on other elements that look different.

Thanks to this SO Q & A, but it was not entirely clear: Eclipse: how to complete all applications at once?

Basically, you can use Ctrl + F2 to complete Eclipse.

Use Ctrl + F2 to complete the current current server, not an eclipse. There is no keyboard shortcut to complete the eclipse.

Try it here:

Yes you are right. In fact, if you check Windows -> Preferences -> Keys -> Terminate, "Terminate and relaunch", it is displayed for the server, not the eclipse.

Since CTRL + F2 does not work if you have:

  • previously activated debug mode and
  • the process you want to complete is selected

The best I can think of is to use the Keys setting to assign CTRL + SHIFT + F2 to Show Debug View, you can enter the following:

CTRL + SHIFT + F2 (activates the debug view) DOWN (move the cursor down to the first process) CTRL + F2 (Terminate) F12 (activate the edit window)
