Auto restart nginx EC2

I have an EC2 instance in which I installed nginx with "yum install nginx"

It works fine until reboot. After rebooting, the nginx service does not start automatically. How to configure it to automatically restart after reboot?

btw, my /etc/init.d/nginx file looks like this:

#!/bin/sh # # nginx - this script starts and stops the nginx daemon # # chkconfig: - 85 15 # description: Nginx is an HTTP(S) server, HTTP(S) reverse \ # proxy and IMAP/POP3 proxy server # processname: nginx # config: /etc/nginx/nginx.conf # config: /etc/sysconfig/nginx # pidfile: /var/run/nginx.pid # Source function library. . /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions # Source networking configuration. . /etc/sysconfig/network # Check that networking is up.   • Set execution permission using sudo chmod +x /etc/init.d/nginx
  • Add script to default runlevels with update-rc.d -f nginx defaults

udpate-rc.d no longer used by default for ec2 AMI. Use chkconfig nginx on to automatically start nginx on reboot.
