AngularJS ngAnimate ngView smooth burnout / animation

Question

I like to have a nice transition, and I am modifying the contents of my ngView. The user can always change the active view faster than the animation. Is there a way to always get smooth fading / animation. The only way that seems to seem to ignore fadeout / leave.

With JavaScript-driven processing, it will keep track of when the user clicks faster than the animation, the value animation stops in the middle and goes back to the initial state.
