The AsciiDoctor.js Live Preview browser extension can meet your needs:
Render AsciiDoc (.ad, .adoc, .asc, .asciidoc) as HTML inside Chrome!
Install it for Chrome or FireFox .
In Chrome, you most likely want to enable Allow access to local file URLs in extension options.
Then either point your browser to the remote AsciiDoc URL, or create a new file locally (for example, helloworld.adoc ), enter the text with your favorite editor in it, and then point your browser to it (for example, file:///home/leif/helloworld.adoc ).
