Is there an online demo of AsciiDoc editors showing live previews?

I met many demos of Markdown editors demonstrating live previews, for example:

http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/dingus

http://dillinger.io/

http://www.markitdown.net/markdown

http://epiceditor.com/

http://hallojs.org/demo/markdown/

But I was not able to find a lot of AsciiDoc Editor live preview search.

I came across articles about setting up such functions, for example:

http://asciidoctor.org/docs/editing-asciidoc-with-live-preview/

but I really right after some online demos, is there any there?

The AsciiDoctor.js Live Preview browser extension can meet your needs:

Render AsciiDoc (.ad, .adoc, .asc, .asciidoc) as HTML inside Chrome!

  • Install it for Chrome or FireFox .

  • In Chrome, you most likely want to enable Allow access to local file URLs in extension options.

  • Then either point your browser to the remote AsciiDoc URL, or create a new file locally (for example, helloworld.adoc ), enter the text with your favorite editor in it, and then point your browser to it (for example, file:///home/leif/helloworld.adoc ).

This may be what you are looking for https://github.com/lordofthejars/asciidoctor-markitup , with the corresponding video demonstration http://youtu.be/PEvvwNc1kU8 .

There really is only very rare support. For easy asciidoc support, you can also use the highligting syntax for gedit: http://kenjiru.ro/blog/2011/10/asciidoc-highlight-for-gedit

But in case you like experimental software: I wrote a direct asciidoc converting HTTP server in python, which you can get here: https://github.com/pypp/asciidoc_http_server . (On the pro side, you can easily provide access to your asciidoc files over the Internet)
