WAMPSERVER - update the PHP version only from 5.4.3 to 5.5.4

Can I upgrade the PHP version under the wampserver server instead of the whole? Since the current latest version of wampserver provides version 5.4.3, but the latest php version is 5.5.4.

How can I update it?

EDIT:

Wampserver provides version 5.4.3 or later. What I'm trying to do is download the latest version of PHP from the official php site, and not copy it to wampserver. So that I can choose the switch between newer and older versions.

I GOT MY ANSWER:

PHP 5.5 requires a type handler that does not support the current 5.4 handler. version. The handler is provided by IONCUBE.

Here is what I found -

"Ioncube for PHP5.5 has not yet been released as of 09/13/2013, they say that they are waiting for PHP 5.5 to become stable and secure, and hosting providers will use PHP 5.5 before they release the update. For hosting companies may take a year or more to accept new versions of PHP, and I think that's their schedule. "
