Is there a way to view the contents of a manifest file from an APK?

I saw here that someone listed the contents of the manifest of the official Facebook APK app. Is there a way to decompile this, or is this information available elsewhere?

The APK file is just a JAR — change the extension to .JAR and use the decompression tool to decompress it.

If you use windows, you can simply use WinRAR - which should unzip the JAR.

In addition to this, the JAR is just a regular ZIP file, so you can simply change the APK extension to .ZIP and open it using almost any decompression tool (as Peter mentioned above).
