How to change the default version of xcode that is running ...?

I have xcode 3.2 and 4.0 installed on my PC, but my problem is that whenever I open a project, it opens with xcode 3.2. Although I have the opportunity to open my project with open c-> xcode 4.0, I want to change the default Xcode to 4.0. Can this be done?

Use the Finder context menu (that is, right-click on the project) and select "Get Information"

The “Open With” section is located in the window that appears - use this to select the appropriate version of Xcode, and then use the “Change All” button to indicate that it should be used for all projects.

On my machine, I renamed Xcode.app for Xcode 3 to Xcode 3 , which makes it easy to distinguish between the two versions.

First, right-click on the project, depending on what you want to open. Now select the openWith option and select "Other".

Now select Xcode 4.0 installed on your MAC address. Select "All applications" in the "Enable" menu, as well as "Always open with the option." Then click OK.
