Maximum number of Google ads per page

I am browsing my advertising options on my website and I think I’m starting with Google Adsense. However, I'm not sure how many advertisements you actually have on the page. I assume it’s normal to mix and match banners with ad units, etc. Etc. - So what is the maximum total amount you can have on one page?

They further clarify in this matter.

Currently, AdSense publishers can host up to three AdSense for content units on one web page. This includes a maximum of 300x600 ad units per page. You can also place a maximum of three link blocks and two search boxes on each web page.

Google Adsense Ads Per Limit has been removed in accordance with the latest policy changes. Google is making publishers happy with this recent change. Now publishers can place more than 3 ads, which ultimately leads to more revenue.

I think Google raised a maximum of 3 units of content per page.

Now they just say that advertising should not be more than content. And you will not find maximum unit rules in the documentation documentation.

Three standard ad units mean that you can use 3 main standards and offered by google: 1 728x90, 1 336x280 or 1 300x250 and 1 160x600.

Three link units mean you can get them by creating link nodes in the adsense ad panel.

According to Adsense Tos,

You can add up to 3 standard ads / per page (maximum advertising size is 1,300 * 600, followed by a different advertising size, take 970 × 90), as well as 3 blocks of advertisements for AdSense content. These are the maximum ads on the Adsense content page.

Google recently lifted the restriction on 3 ads. They do not indicate a maximum limit, but they say that the number should not exceed your content. Here is the official link: Number of AdSense Ads

Your page may have 3 standard size ads. And I do not recommend you add more (do not even show ads). Instead, why not add infolinks, viglink and others?
