How to remove app IDs from iPhone Provisioning Portal

While experimenting with developing iPhone apps, we have a few AppIDs that need to be removed , except that I cannot find a way to delete them! What can I do with them?

If deletion is not available, what about renaming, hiding, or permanently disabling?

UPDATE:

Starting in April 2013, Apple allows you to remove the AppID. Oooh!

If you are creating an application identifier, be prepared to live with it for the rest of your life; Application identifiers are herpes preparation iPhone.

I'm so tired that I wrote a browser extension to control my application IDs. He adds the Active checkbox next to all your application identifiers in the Application Identifier section of the access portal - disable the application identifier and it will no longer appear in the Application Identifier drop-down list when creating new provisioning profiles. You can also rename your application identifiers.

You can install the extension from the App ID Sanity website or browse the source on Github .

Update (April 8, 2013) - Apple has added a Delete button!

Yes, you read it right: Apple has added a delete button. Happy Days!

Update. Apple has removed the Delete button:

After a downtime in September 2013, the delete button disappeared. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to remove application identifiers.

The delete button reappeared on Apple Developers

Now you can delete your application identifier again by following these two steps:

  • Click on your AppID and you will see the following: enter image description here

  • Click Edit at the bottom of the view.

  1. There you see the Delete button

Hope this helps
