Error updating iOS application. "This package is not valid. Apple does not currently accept applications created with this version of the SDK."

I closed the application in the iOS app store on 1/24/2014. This is an iO7 / iPhone app and everything was delivered correctly. As of yesterday, my app was approved, and it is currently visible on the App Store.

I have compiled a small update and am currently working on delivering it using Application Loader.

However, now that I load my production IPA, it is rejected due to what looks like an sdk error.

Messages: Apple web service operation was not successful Unable to authenticate the package: 806906410.itmsp ERROR ITMS-9000: "This bundle is invalid. Apple is not currently accepting applications built with this version of the SDK." at SoftwareAssets/SoftwareAsset (MZItmspSoftwareAssetPackage)

I'm struggling to figure out what has changed since I build with the same SDK as last weekend.

Starting February 1, you can only use the Xcode 5.X and iOS7 SDKs to create applications for the AppStore. Double check that you compiled the application with the correct Xcode / SDK.

I was hoping your suggestion would work, but I got an error despite using the Air 4.0 SDK. I did not get this error when I downloaded it on the App Store a few days ago (I already used Air 4.0). Does this really mean that Apple has limited development to use Xcode?

EDIT:

The Air 4.0 SDK update really works! But make sure you have the Air 4.0 SDK for Flex developers

For Flex users with the same error message: you need to download the beta version of the AIR 4.0 SDK from Adobe Lab: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html (for me it was an SDK for Flex, Mac) Then extract it (sudo tar jxvf air4-0_sdk_sa_mac.tbz2) and lay it on the Flex SDK, as explained in: http://www.247sw.ca/installing-flash-builder-4-7-and-air-3-5 -for-windows-and-mac

Publishing to the AppStore is fine after that.

I ran into the same problem, I updated the Air 4.0 SDK and it works great! Be sure to update the Air 4.0 SDK for Flex developers. Please set xmlns = "http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/14.0" in the --app.xml configuration file.

You can download the latest sdk from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html .

I ran into the same problem, but in my case, the reason was because I had the latest beta version of Xcode for iOS 8 on my computer. The event that I built from the Xcode 5.1.1 GUI was a beta compiler was selected. I had to move the beta to the basket first to create an assembly for the vault.
