SSRS stucks report when loading IE 11

We are launching SQL Server 2008 R2. All these reports worked fine until we updated IE from 10 to 11. Each time we run the report, it just gets stuck when loading forever.

I tried to change the document mode to other versions.

In OP, add the site to the compatibility view.

It is also possible that browser discovery needs to be updated on the server side for .Net in this blog article . Basically, there is a fix for ASP.Net 4.0 and one for ASP.Net 3.5sp1 and ASP.net 2.0 that you need to apply. Alternatively, you can upgrade to ASP.Net 4.5, which will also fix issue 4.0.

You may need to upgrade to your SQL Server to Service Pack 2. There are several compatibility issues with RTM version 1.0 and SQL Server 2008R2.

Connect to an instance of SQL Server and run the following query:

Sometimes just restarting Reporting Services (Services) can also help, as in my case;)
