Send an email from windows phone 8.1

I want to send an email from a Windows Phone 8.1 app.Email Compose application that does not work in it. I tried this

EmailRecipient sendTo = new EmailRecipient() { Address = "abc@outlook.com" }; //generate mail object EmailMessage mail = new EmailMessage(); mail.Subject = "Feedback"; //add recipients to the mail object mail.To.Add(sendTo); //mail.Bcc.Add(sendTo); //mail.CC.Add(sendTo); //open the share contract with Mail only: await EmailManager.ShowComposeNewEmailAsync(mail);

This gives an error in the emulator:

No sharing. No sharing apps.

You do not have email accounts in your emulator to share with this account. If you want to send an email, you must have an account right?

So, go to email + accounts in the "Settings" menu and add any type of account to Emulator. After you finish adding your email account, try deploying the application to the emulator and completing the task. You should see the email task right now.

Since the emulator does not have an email account, "it does not show which applications will not be available, now you can’t share."

In the emulator, log in to your Microsoft account and try again. I solved this with an account.

You can test it on the device . Because your emulator does not have any email account. Therefore, when you call the ShowComposeNewEmailAsync method, it cannot find any target. Or you can add an account to your emulator in settings β†’ email + account.
