Status bar is too large on iPhone 6

In my iOS8 app on iPhone 6, the status bar displays a lot more than usual on the home screen or in other applications. This only happens on the iPhone 6, I was looking for ways to fix it, and so far I have not found anything. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great. Below are the images of the normal status bar and status bar in my application.

How to enable native resolution for apps on iPhone 6 and 6 Plus? You will need to enable your own resolution by updating the launch image. This should be what you need.
