Ionic ios app stuck on splash screen - works in emulator not on iphone 5s device

Question

I am currently stuck on a splash screen when I click on my iOS device. I have definitely installed ngCordova through the bower installation, and all of my ion emulations work as expected. Only when I deploy an iOS device does it get stuck on the splash screen. I have included the correct syntax for the splash screen in the config.xml file

and in my main app.js file there is the following:

Then, when I create a real iPhone 5S, I get the following:

looking at the last line of each exit, it looks like ui-router # / app / browse gets on the iPhone 5S, and I can’t understand why. When I run ionic serve and ionic emulate ios , everything does fine, but as soon as I click it on my actual phone, it hangs on the splash screen.

Not sure what happened, but what I ended up with was creating a new clone of the remote repo and applying my changes related to the splash screen to a new instance on my local machine. then I did the following:

ionic platform rm ios ionic platform add ios ionic build ios

... and he was able to exit the screen saver. hope this helps.

I had the wrong setting:

  <preference name="AutoHideSplashScreen" value="true"/> 

I set the value to false. Switching to a true cure.
