What does the warning / exclamation mark next to pre-builds mean?

I am trying to use the new Mac preview feature in iTunes Connect. I downloaded my assembly and appears in the preview section of my application. However, there is a small warning sign next to it, and I cannot release the assembly for any testers or edit the test metadata.

I tried the following:

• Download the app as I would like for release on the App Store
• add devices to the team training profile and load using this provisioning profile

What does a warning mean? Do I need to download an assembly created with a team preparation profile or with a distribution profile? Can I update the provisioning profile later, as I could on TestFlight, or do I need to reload whenever I add a device?

I found the following sentence in the iTunesConnect documentation :

TestFlight Beta in iTunes Connect Available Only for iOS Applications

I don’t understand why beta testing is offered in the Mac application GUI in iTunesConnect if it is not supported. Has anyone successfully deployed Mac beta apps, but is this not possible?

The problem is the new beta resolution. Describing a little for others:

After archiving, export the appropriate assembly using the Save method to deploy the IOS store . Without this option, beta-reports-active = 1 will not be added to the binary. This is the reason for the itunesconnect warning.

If the warning continues after you select Save for the deployment of the IOS store , then you should check if the provisioning profile has recently been created / regenerated. Because a few months ago, this beta-reports-active flag was not enabled from the developer's site.

Have you ever figured out how to find out why this is happening? I received this about 1 month ago, and following the traces and errors it turned out that this was due to the fact that I had the WatchKit extension in my project. This warning only came back for me today with Xcode 6.2, but I cannot figure out what causes it. I have already removed the WatchKit extension from this assembly.

I understood what was going on for me. I accidentally did not get everything so that the goals of my surveillance application are removed from my project. As soon as I deleted them, this warning at ITC was gone.
