Changing the word template for knitr in Rmarkdown

I use Rstudio to create a markdown document that I want to convert to a text document. I would like to change the word template that is automatically generated when you enter into Word. For example, I want the margins to be narrow when I knit a word.

I'm on 64-bit Windows, with Windows 7.

I have prepared a video for this task. See if that helps. Basically, you create a Word document from an arbitrary R Markdown document, then change the styles in the output Word document and use this document as a template for future R Markdown documents.
