I experimented with BANNER ads in my Android app following this guide. When ads load and a significant drop in FPS appears. This is a very unpleasant experience for the user, because watching animations is the main part of my application, and they look awful in low FPS.
Everything works fine when I install adView on View.GONE . I do not know where this problem comes from. I'm not sure how the UI thread gets so loaded with a simple BANNER declaration ... Any suggestions here?
This problem is present both in my emulator and in a real Android device.
