Does anyone know how to remove a project from a SonarQube server?

Thanks, Ronen.

Updated for Sonar 2.11:

  • Select a project (from the main page)
  • Then click the Delete project link at the bottom of the left pane.
  • Finally, confirm the use of the Delete Project button.

In Sonar 3.6, the delete button is located on the project page under the search input in the "Configuration" menu (you must log in as an administrator):

Log in with an administrator account. Select a project name. There you can see the "delete project" in the configuration menu.

In some situations that you want to make software, you can use the SonarQube Rest web interface to do this. According to SonarQube Documentation :

POST api/projects/bulk_delete

What can be used by passing the project identifier in the parameter . I am not a professional in Curl, but it should be something like this (code created in the Postman client) for the project with the key "daBestProjectKey":

 curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Basic YWRtaW46YWRtaW4=" -H "Cache-Control: no-cache" -H "Postman-Token: 10a0e9a1-8dae-a9d1-45f2-0d8e56de999d" -H "Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=----WebKitFormBoundary7MA4YWxkTrZu0gW" -F "keys=daBestProjectKey" "http://localhost:9000/api/projects/bulk_delete"

SonarQube 5.1

(released April 23, 2015) Think that you need administrative permissions. You can follow the steps described in the documentation :

This information is for SonarQube version 5.0, which is the latest at the moment - released on January 17, 2015.

You can delete a project from the project configuration, which is present on the right side of the project toolbar. This screenshot is below.

if you are a SonarQube administrator, you have the authority to delete multiple projects.

Just go to settings and you will see a tab on the left as β€œbulk removal”. Please find the attached screenshot for the same.
