How to allow users to rate the Android application from the application (without redirecting to the Play Store)

In my application, I am experimenting with creating a popup that allows the user to directly rate my application (e.g. 5 stars) without having to redirect to the Play Store. I read a lot of questions ( here and here ), and the answers on this site claim it is not possible, but Tinder did it!

Tinder Application Rating Dialog

After entering the rating, the rating appears (without additional comments) in the Play Store. It seems to me that allowing this great control over ratings can lead to a number of “dubious” practices, such as filtering low ratings or tracking user ratings and granting or retaining special privileges based on how they rated you ... since they do it ? Can anyone shed some light on this?

I think this is technically impossible if you didn’t parse the HTML on the play store page, which may be against store policies (these are tools like Andlytics so you can track ratings in your application). In any case, even if you really can POST through HTTP to evaluate, you won’t be able to check if the user has already been scored, because points without a review are not displayed on the market page. In addition, it will require you to change your code every time Google changes the displayed HTML.

Unable to process rating inside application. You can request a user only on the page of your application on Google Play and ask him to rate your application for additional support.
