ITunes Connect, check your total sales?

Is there a way to use iTunes connect or the API to check the total number of app sales for a particular app since release. I'm just wondering how ITC on the iPhone seems to show 26 weeks when displaying totals, so it missed the first 20+ weeks. (the app was about 50 weeks old).

I would like to see Release to Now, total sales = 4067 , is this possible?

From the Apple User Guide for Financial Reports (available at the bottom of the iTunes Connect page):

We do not store or restore data after the expiration of periods (14 days of rolling and 13 weeks of rolling); You will need to download and save this data regularly if you intend to use it in the future.

So the answer is no. It's so funny - 500 GB of storage costs peanuts (yes, I know that the cost of storage in IT is more, redundancy, management, backup, archiving, blah blah, etc.), but it's still cheap. Apple can keep a “full sent” record, and it won’t harm them.

You might want to check out the Payments and Financial Reports section of iTunes Connect. Here's a general overview of your total sales on the Summary tab. However, this submission is updated only monthly.

From Sales and Trends Frequently Asked Questions iTunes Connect

How long are reports available for download? Weekly report: Thirteen (13) weeks a week before the current week are available for download.

Daily Report: Seven (7) calendar days until the current day are available for download.

Information is only available for periods following the reporting activation date in iTunes Connect. Reporting is usually activated before any sales on the App Store.

You need to keep your own records, Apple stores a limited amount for documented periods of time.

But if you look at your financial statements, they may contain data covering previous months.

Added: In fact, only the monthly financial statements should be used for the correct sales or download numbers, as Apple says that the daily and weekly trend reports should only be used for evaluation purposes.

The iTunesConnect iOS app will show you data for the previous 26 (and 13 and 5, etc.) weeks. This may help if you missed some weekly data from ITC www maternity.

Now. We (appfigures.com) are actually in the process of testing functionality that uses all the datasets that Apple gives (along with some magic) to give you an accurate total time for all metrics (downloads, sales, updates, etc.) ,.

We have it in beta right now, so if you want to give it a try, contact us directly through the site and we will pick you up. We hope to make this available to all users very soon.

FYI - This new feature works even if you just opened a new appFigures account.

I don’t rely on Apple, I just check my Google analytics report for general uniqueness and just draw a conclusion from this.

Apple now provides reports until 2008. Thus, I downloaded reports from previous years, months, weeks, and days and combined them with excel to get general downloads and updates using excel filters.

You can view sales by day, week, month, and year by clicking the date in the upper right corner of the Sales and Trends report for your application in iTunes Connect.

It seems he will be back for a few years, so you need to show the numbers you need.

It seems that the apple has updated the available periods, as shown below: AppStoreReportingInstructions :

Reports are available only at certain times and are saved only for certain periods. Reports should be regularly uploaded for records.

• Daily reports include data for the previous day in the selected area and are stored for 30 days.

• Weekly reports include data starting on Monday and ending on Sunday of the previous week. Weekly reports are available on Mondays and lasts for 26 weeks.

• Monthly reports are available five days after the end date of the month and are stored for 12 months.

• Annual reports are available six days after the end date of the year and are stored indefinitely.

• All reports are usually available until 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT).

Apple does not save or restore data after these periods.
