Microsoft Intune - Unable to Add Device

I developed an application for the Windows store, and we would like to be able to distribute it (and manage updates) to a certain number of corporate machines (some use Windows 10, others use Windows 8.1).

At first I tried using a trial version of Windows Intune, but ran into a problem. I can not register a device that works on 8.1. I come to the step where I have to connect the machine to the workplace (through "PC Settings - Network - Workstation - Join"), but I get the error message "Confirm that you are using the correct input information and that your workstation is using this function "Also, the connection to your workstation may not work right now. Please wait and try again." I am trying to connect using a trial account that I created when I started the trial version of Intune (for example: xxxx@xxxx.onmicrosoft.com). In addition, I do not see an option in Intune that allows me to update existing applications on the device. Did I miss a step?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I contacted the Microsoft support team several times and went through the deployment. We could not make it work. In the end, they told me to use Windows 10.

I had the same problem due to a problem with the local network. Make sure your network is not restricting anything. (I also used the trial version of Intune)

Intune allows you to update a new version of an application. (There must be the same application, you cannot replace it with another application). You can click or “Available to install” application updates.

To do this in the Intune application section, select the application and edit it. Then download the latest version of your application. Intune will detect this as an update and will click or make available through the Portal Portal app.

-Make sure this helps
