How to prevent Apple Watch from sleeping?

We are working on the Apple Watch project, but the watch goes to sleep if it does not interrupt.

Is there a way to prevent him from sleeping?

According to my knowledge and other requests on this topic, there are currently no api available to enable or disable standby time for Apple Watch programmatically.

Idle API

There is currently no API to disconnect the Apple Watch from sleep mode.

You can wait until watchOS 3.

Change user sleep time

Any user can follow this path:

Settings → General → Wake Up Screen

And set the time for a long time.

Unfortunately, only the user can change this, and there is no way to do this programmatically.

NOTE. If you want the screen to resume working after waking up, you should ask the user to do this here:

Settings → General → Wake up screen → Resume last action

Please note that according to Owen, keeping awake will quickly drain the battery.

Conclusion

1- API not installed.

2- User can change the sleep time.

3 The user can choose to resume the last action when the Apple Watch wakes up.

Due to nutritional requirements, staying awake will quickly drain the battery. However, you may be worried that when the watch goes to sleep, it does not resume in your application. This can be fixed at the user level, on your iOS device, using the Surveillance application, using General> Test Screen> and Resume Recent Activity
