Phpmailer send gmail smtp timeout

There are many similar questions, but none of them helped me.

Here is my script that is presented in the phpmailer file:

and here is the error:

 SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: Connection timed out (110) SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. 

in many of the issues mentioned, enable php_openssl extenstion , which is enabled on my server. I am using PHPmailer version 5.1

there is also no problem with my server port 25, and the simple mail() function works fine
