Error connecting to WebSocket. Websocket handshake error. Answer Code 403?

This is the message I get for my Wordpress site:

"Failed to connect to WebSocket to" wss: //public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data ": WebSocket handshake error: Unexpected response code: 403"

This causes the merge slider on my homepage to forever try to download, but never appears.

Note. Sometimes it works, and the console does not receive errors, most of the time it does not.

I could not figure it out on the Internet, some people have similar problems, but not on the same platform. How can I fix this. Let me know if you need more information.

I also saw these notifications, and here is the answer I just received from Jetpack:

We found that the Websocket console error is only displayed if you are not logged into WordPress.com. If so, the error will disappear.

We are working on a fix, but I do not have an accurate ETA. However, you can stay on WordPress.com and the console error will not start.

Hope this makes sense. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience. Greetings :)

Thus, it really is related to the jet pack and the unresolved issue that they are aware of.

Log out and log in and the problem should be fixed.

I solved this problem by disabling the Jetpack plugin and activating it again. Hope this helps!
