R-presentation (rpres) black in full screen

Whenever I accept .Rpres full screen in full screen under the latest version of RStudio (v0.99.902) on macOS every slide after the intro has a black overlay that does not disappear.

While the window is minimized, we have:

[ Windowed Rpres]

In full screen mode (press f ), switching from a title slide to subsequent slides gives:

Full screen error

Used code:

 Lecture 4: The Art of Life ==== author: 385 date: Today autosize: true On the Agenda ==== - Learn about functions - Learn about other things.. > Only this text appears

I also had this problem.

F11 didn’t help me either, until I started looking at the sliders in full screen mode using the menu bar: enter image description here

This made my slides fullscreen (with a nice white background), then I could use F11 to switch from fullscreen. Does this work for other people?

Explicitly add font and background color to custom.css .

 .reveal .state-background { background: white; } .reveal { color: black; }

(You should also obviously add css: custom.css under the title of the title slide.)
