Chrome rendering color weird

My Dell 2709w monitor recently started acting weird. On some page it displays different colors where it should not.

This is done only on the external monitor, and not on the macbook itself. And this is only in chrome. safari and firefox do not.

I am running macOS Sierra

While reading the contents of the report here, the workaround that worked for me was to set the GPU Rasterization flag to the Enabled Chrome configuration flag editor:

chrome: // flags / # enable-gpu-rasterization

I also get this problem when connected to an external monitor. Do you use sierra? This can be a problem.

Here is an example from me - it should be a solid red background on an HTML page in Chrome 53:

It should be solid red, but it has artifacts

I get the same issue with Chrome 53, but also with Chrome Canary 56 and Atom.

This seems to be happening on empty solid colors.
