Google's new invisible reCaptcha - invisible or not?

Google announced that Invisible ReCAPTCHA will be available soon. At the moment, if you want to integrate the new reCAPTCHA into your website or application, you can register here .

I have 2 keys for sites, for the new Invisible reCaptcha, and I started to โ€œplayโ€ with their examples: see them here https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/invisible

Yes, when the page loads recaptcha, it is invisible, but when the form is submitted, the recaptcha call appears all the time. You need to click on the images, draw something else ... etc.

I tested this on different servers, on two different sites, on which the site key for using Invisible reCaptcha was approved, and different browsers form different locations. Same behavior: Google shows a call when a form submits to all 3 examples that they have on their page.

Is that what we should expect?

As with the checkbox, if it cannot reliably determine if it is not a bot, you receive a call. I can confirm that the invisible part works when you show up as a person.

In fact, you need to approve the Terms of Use when creating the new reCAPTCHA website, which states that

You agree to explicitly inform visitors to your site that you have implemented Invisible reCAPTCHA on your site and that their use of Invisible reCAPTCHA is subject to Googleโ€™s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
