We noticed that your application did not start when the iPhone was resolved when viewed on an iPad running iOS 10.2. In particular, we could not register, because the registration option was behind the number.

We have added a screenshot for your reference.

Next steps

Please review your application to make sure that it works and displays correctly when you resolve iPhone to iPad.

This is not a problem with supported devices - even if the iOS application is only for iPhone, it should run on iPhone with iPad resolution. This is the same size (or very, very close) as on the iPhone 4 simulator, based on screenshots.

Correct the restrictions for iPhone 4 and it will be approved.

I had the same problem with my application that had deployment information for iPhone installed. Did they attach a screenshot with their answer?

The problem with mine was that the restrictions were incorrectly configured. On the smaller screen sizes (which show the 1x settings on the iPad), my buttons were pushed together.

Test your build on a simulator with iPhone 5.

I had the same problem with my application.

My app was for iPhone, not iPad, but the Apple review team told me the following:

It would be appropriate to review your application so that it continues on the iPad with iPhone resolution.

My decision:

UI Optimization for iPhone 4

Hope this helps.

The supported minimum version of iOS is not up to date! I got a waiver from the iPad (1X). The application supports min version 10!

The problem is that your application supports "minimum iOS version = 9". this means that your application must support 1x (not only 2x or 3x). Apple's itc review team is probably testing ipad mini apps with a 1x screen to test iphone 4 devices.

just optimize the user interface for 1x (iphone 4 / 4s)
