Switching your Google Account in Firebase Console

I cannot switch between Google accounts in the Firebase console. I have 2 accounts, one for personal and one for work.

On the Firebase page ( https://firebase.google.com , the Google Account drop-down list (top right) is populated with my accounts, but when I register in the Console it always subscribes to my personal default account ( https: //console.firebase .google.com / ), and I can’t switch to my work account.

This happens even if I am registered in my account on the Firebase page and click the Console link.? authuser = 1 is added to the URL, as in most Google applications when switching accounts, but it does not seem to work in the Firebase Console.

Any reasonable suggestions? Running my default account causes many other Google products that I actively use (Music, Hangouts, etc.)

My answer is the same for all Google products that I use ...

I use multiple browsers for multiple Google accounts. I logged into my work Gmail account in Chrome. I logged into my personal Gmail account in Firefox. I have a third rare dummy account for which I take advantage.

It seems like work should be on Chrome for you, since you use Firebase and other important things that Chrome does well. Firefox is more than capable of music and video calls (and other things).

This is how I separate my personal and work life. Close Firefox when you need to finish work or vice versa. Works very well for me the last 5 years

It's really funny, but you can get around the lack of account switching in the Firebase console by manually editing the URL.

The Firebase console URL seems to default to the first Google account you are logged into.

Manually changing the number in the URL to the location of the Google account in the account switching dialog that you can see in Gmail works for me. The number is indexed by zero, so use 1 for the second account, 2 for the third account ...
