IPhone web application on the home screen + Facebook authentication

Guru SO

I have a working web application that works well with Facebook Connect. But when I send the web application to the iOS 4.3.4 main screen and press β€œFB Login” in the application β†’ it launches Safari to open, and I end up leaving the β€œHome screen” screen.

Do I need to log into the application of the home screen itself, and not start Safari?

Thanks.

Tried target = "_ webapp", target = "_ blank", etc. none of them worked for me.

This javascript bit worked fine for me:

<a href="#" onclick="window.open('<put your facebook login URL here>','_parent'); ...

He does this to check his Facebook login session. Currently, you cannot avoid this, as your web application must enter the Facebook dialog anyway in order to log in if it has not already been.
