Integration with the Great Plains, the best way?

I can not find much information on the Internet about this. Has anyone used the eConnect and Dynamics web services to interact (read / write) with Great Plains. I am looking for the pros and cons of both approaches.

This product will be installed and configured on different sites, so ease of setup is really important. I usually hate talking to IIS.

Must be able to customize GP 9 and 10.

thanks

We made websites based on web services for GP 9. Don’t worry about IIS, you have nothing to worry about. The installation process is very simple. This did not require me to configure anything with IIS. At first, some settings are a bit complicated, for example, adding users and setting policies. But as soon as you receive it, it is not a problem. Now we use web services for almost everyone, it is so easy to develop with them. I would like a little more to update and get access to additional information, which, I hope, will come, but otherwise it will be easy.

We used it on e-commerce sites and windows. We did not select econnect because of the simplicity of web services, econnect i beleive has more options, and we used it to create and update invoices, but changed it to web services. If you have any specific questions, feel free to let me know. Thanks!
