Best analytics offer for iPhone

What is the best iPhone offer for iPhone? I saw Pinchmedia , but I’m not so sure, as the application’s default page says "Last update of July 2008."

I have tried several packages, and Pinch Media is by far the best. I don’t know where this date came from in July 2008, they regularly release updates and are very responsive to feedback and questions sent by email to their support people. Coincidentally or not, some of my suggestions have contributed it to the current Pinch libraries.

Besides the excellent support, the reason I prefer a pinch is that they seemed to be the only package that updates several times a day - usually once per hour. This is great if you are trying to use new advertising techniques or are simply obsessed with your sales figures (as every developer does at first :)

On the other hand, there are two questions that I have with Pinch: their site can be a bit awkward and not very iPhone friendly (ironic!), And at times they had problems when statistics updates are unavailable due to hardware problems. I would also like them to have a ā€œreviewā€ for all of your applications.

It is worth noting that all analytics libraries are very easily integrated into your application, and they all work with both the simulator and the equipment, so it is very easy to evaluate them to find the one you like best. You can even use several at once - although I would only do this for testing.

Pinch Media is currently merged into Flurry . Flurry is a worthy choice.

If this is a quick "afterthought" project, you will be pleased to know that the basic Flurry integration is one liner in AppDelegate :)

Flurry is a very good option. In my last application, I tried Appsee Mobile Analytics , which I like if you are looking for something else - they give you a video of user sessions and heatmaps. This is a bit more interactive than other analysts.

If you are interested in visual analytic tools like Heatmaps, or you want to get some of them on how your users use your application, you should try heatma.ps

Quantcast, who is very familiar with measuring audience demographic data for websites, launched Quantcast Measure for Mobile Apps earlier this year. Their iOS, Android and PhoneGap SDKs are available on github .

At this point, you may need to minimize yourself - on a limited device, do you really need a third-party library that takes up an unknown amount of limited network bandwidth and processing power?
