WordPress Digg-Like Voting System Plugin

I just learned about BuddyPress (a set of plugins that transform WordPress MU installed on a social network), and now I was wondering if WordPress has any voting plugins like Digg. This will eventually be integrated into the BuddyPress website, where site members will post, vote and comment on stories (just like Digg).

I have a feeling that I will have to build it from scratch, but since the site will be built on WordPress, I was wondering if there are already any plugins that add this functionality. So far, I have been empty in my search. I found a Wordpress blog with this WpVote functionality. It even creates thumbnails of the story web page automatically (I guess) using websnapr . I looked at the source of the page and did not seem to find any hints of the WP plugin they use.

I have successfully used TDO Mini Forms for custom submissions in conjunction with Vote for to create a digg style website.

You can create the Best Votes page using the MostVotedAllTime_Widget () function, use the Vote function, or use the SortVotes () or GetVoteArray () functions to create and create your own list of best votes in a custom page template.

You will find a complete list of available features in / vote-it-up / votingfunctions.php

when I started creating my own social bookmarks, I use the voteitup plugin, but if you want to create your own vote button, you can visit bavotasan.com and look for the message β€œsimple vote for Wordpress-with-php-and-jquery” take a look at my own social bookmarking using it: http://nestdev.com

- This is a premium theme that I came across, but it has never been used. This is the WP version of Digg, and I find it pretty good.

Personally, I use Drigg, which is a version of Drupal Digg. See here in action: http://weblinks.myfriendshotel.com Unfortunately, however, WebSnapr has just changed its code, so the site no longer displays hints, but hopefully as a "non-programmer" I will find a solution soon ...

I think [wpvote] [1] uses the drigg module for drupal. I just found a buddypress plugin that has a similar feature like digg social bookmarking. more details

Not sure if this is still relevant or not, but the theme used for WPVote.com is now released on Pro Theme Design - http://prothemedesign.com/themes/nominate-for-wordpress/
