Question

I have a working copy of the asp.net mvc site locally. I just uploaded the whole site to my web hosting server. everything looks fine at first, but when I log in, I get the following error:

My suggestion is to fix the configuration line.

This MSDN article contains all valid keyword values ​​in the ConnectionString for SqlConnection. "Provider" is not listed.

You have two options:

• remove the keyword "provider";
• use OleDbConnection instead of SqlConnection.
