Interactive .NET Charting Tools?

We strive to implement some complex graphic diagrams for the new application that we are creating. Some of the charts are scatterplots, which sometimes have high clustering of data in certain areas. Is there a charting tool similar to Google Maps that gives you a high level view, and then if there is too much clustering, the user can zoom in on a specific area to get a more detailed view, and the points begin to expand? Free or otherwise is not a problem.

Try Microsoft Chart Controls for .NET 3.5 , they also include a nice demo application where you can view sample charts and see how it works with sample code.

These chart controls are included by default in .Net 4.0, so a separate installation is not required.

You have several options. You can either go with Microsoft chart controls, as others mentioned, or you can check the following.
