How to register a Firebird data provider for Entity Framework?

How to register a Firebird data provider for use with the Entity Framework?

What should I do to display it in the Entity Data Model Wizard/Choose Data Source window?



I expect it to appear in the Data sources: or Data provider: lists.
Is it possible? Or do I need to configure this connection in another way?

PS: The provider I'm trying to use is FirebirdClient 2.5

You need to install the DDEX provider for Visual Studio

Starting with Firebird.net Provider 3.0 and DDEX Provider 3.0, there is an installer where you can choose for which version of VS you want to install the provider.
