Latex: suppresses the number of pages when a figure spans the entire page

I want to suppress the page number on the page where the shape spans the entire page.

\thispagestyle{empty} \begin{figure}[H] \centering \fbox{\includegraphics[height=0.95\textheight]{853}} \caption{Whole Model Part 1} \label{fig:wholemodel} \end{figure}

I use the \thispagestyle{empty} command as suggested. But this command does not work when the figure spans the entire page. Is there an alternative solution?

I believe you need a floatpag package. In the preamble:

 \usepackage{floatpag} \floatpagestyle{empty}

\ thisfloatpagestyle {} inside the figure / table environment will change this floatpage style. Hope it works!

PS: the help shown by $ texdoc floatpag seems to be in Polish. See the .sty file for use in English. floatpag.sty on CTAN
