Translation quality quercus?

Someone used quercus to translate php to bytecode? if you got a great php application, will the translation be flawless? it seems to me very impossible to simply translate everything without errors into code.

but they claim on their web page that mediawiki and other popular sites (joomla, I think) use it.

and my php code got a lot of procedural code. how will this be translated into a class in java? sounds very impossible!

It would be nice if that were true. someone who tried it?

this guy has drupal working on quercus. drupal uses oop very little, and yet it seems to work fine under quercus. there are apparently even some performance benefits when executing this method - probably related to the difference between compiled code and interpreted code.

This seems like a difficult way to optimize, why not launch APC? You will get similar benefits.
